Services 2009-10


Community Service Pulse Polio Programme
End Polio Now – This is a mission under which every year the club takes charge of various booths on NID, where Pulse Polio Drops are dosed to children below 5 years of age, in a move to eradicate the dreaded POLIO out of the world forever. This year, 5 booth at Jaipur Raliway Station were taken in charge, where children were also distributed Kites & Pencils.

Jaipur Foot Project
RCJS has associated itself with ‘Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayta Samiti’ by way of contributing through its members to provide artificial limbs/foot, infamously known as “JAIPUR FOOT” to the physically challenged. A programme was organized at BMVSS hospital to distribute limbs to the needy, where Film actor Rajeev Khandelwal presided as Chief Guest. The club has taken this project as a permanent programme.

Medical & Dental Health Check-up Camp
Medical and Dental Checkup camp organized at Shree Kalyan World School in Village-Hatoj in Jaipur, where nearly 500 School children and 200 plus villagers were provided free check-up of Blood pressure, Diabetes, ECG, Dental , BMI, and General health diagnosis. This camp was supported by Apex Hospital run by our member Rtn. Sheenu Jhawar.


International Service GSE Activity
GSE team from South Africa & Australia were hosted by our members and a warm welcome and hospitality was provided as per the tradition of our club. The GSE teams were overwhelmed by the gesture and hospitality.



Partner in Service Rotaract Club Jaipur Arch – Charter Presentation
Club Charter was presented to the recently formed Rotaract Club Jaipur Arch under RCJS. Rotaract Chairman – Rtn. Anil Agarwal administered the Oath taken by Rotracters at the event and Princess Diya Kumari , Chief Guest of the event, presented the Charter to the Club president. Later Princess Diya Kumari also accepted the Honarary membership of RCJS.



Vocational Service Vocational Service – RTI Act
Under one of the vocational service programme of the club a session was organized at the club official venue , where club member Rtn. Dr. Vivek S Agarwal shared his expertise on “Right to Information Act” with the members. All the members were highly benefitted from this session.




Environmental Protection Tree Plantation
As a part of permanent club activity, Tree plantation was done at Govt. Senior Secondary School , at Gopalpura Byepass, Jaipur . The school administration is now taking care of the trees planted. These trees has helped children to find a little relief from heat and sun as there is no power or electrical supply available at the school , so that fans can be installed.


Blood Donation Blood Donation camps, a regular programme of the club was organized by club on July 1st, 2010 , the first day of Rotary Year 2009-10 at Avedna Ashram , Santokba Durlabhji Memorial Hospital , Jaipur where club members and friends voluntarily donated Blood for the noble cause.
